Moms for America Responds Following House Judiciary Committee Hearing on Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC)

May 20, 2026

Earlier today, the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing examining concerns surrounding the organization's tactics, influence, and targeting of individuals and organizations across the country.

In response to the hearing, Kimberly FletcherPresident and Founder of Moms for America, released the following statement:

“We are grateful that the House Judiciary Committee is finally looking into the Southern Poverty Law Center. For years, we and so many others have been unfairly targeted, attacked, and mischaracterized by this organization. It is time for the truth to come to light. We support the growing calls for the SPLC to be fully exposed and ultimately shut down so others do not continue to experience the same harm.”
