Moms for America applauds President Donald J. Trump for, once again, standing boldly with America’s parents and putting families ahead of government bureaucracy. President Trump’s August 10 Executive Order establishing Gold Standard Childhood Vaccine Recommendations is a major victory for parental rights, informed consent and the fundamental freedom of moms and dads to make decisions about their children’s health.

President Trump has made it clear that parents deserve more information, more transparency and more choice, not one-size-fits-all mandates handed down from Washington. We especially applaud his Administration’s commitment to protecting religious and medical exemptions, strengthening vaccine research and encouraging states to respect the constitutional rights of parents.

For years, Moms for America has fought to restore parents as the primary decision-makers in the lives of their children. President Trump is demonstrating that he understands that principle and is willing to act on it.

We thank President Trump for having the courage to challenge the status quo, demand greater transparency and put parents back where they belong: at the center of decisions concerning their children.
